Cut Copy Paste is the inaugural zine fair by SGABF, co-organised with Shrub and Temasek Polytechnic. Embracing the raw, rebellious spirit of zine culture, the identity blends analog mark-making—crayon scrawls, cut-outs, and scans—into a playful visual system.
As the sole designer, I developed the fair’s entire graphic language across signage, posters, catalogue, web, and social content. The project honours the DIY ethos—right down to folding 800 catalogues by hand.

One of the main constraints for this project was budget—which, in true zine spirit, became a creative advantage. Leaning into a DIY approach, I combined traditional mark-making (crayons, ink, risograph) with SGABF’s custom sans-serif typeface to build a flexible visual language. Each touchpoint was designed to feel playful, rebellious, and unmistakably handmade.
Highlights include a risograph-printed poster that doubled as a catalogue and keepsake, and the classic “Hello My Name Is” tags for exhibitors and volunteers to fill in themselves. The outcome was warm, scrappy, and collaborative—fitting for a zine fair run on heart, ink, and folded A3s.
