Zarer Lim a.k.a. Zayrerboy is a Singapore-based
artist and designer who wanders between pixels
and paper, motion and meaning. His practice
spans conceptual, physical and digital media,
using absurd metaphors and everyday observations
to stretch what graphic design can be.
As a designer, he works across art direction,
identity design, typography, illustration, and
print matter, often blending analog and digital
techniques like risograph printing, drawing, and
creative coding. Playfulness and craft inform
his process — he enjoys working hands-on to
create tactile, memorable experiences that feel
personal and approachable.
Projects like Cut
Copy Paste and Dumptruck
reflect this DIY spirit, celebrating humor,
community, and bold mark-making. Whether through
zines, posters, or digital experiments, Zarer
aims to make work that’s lighthearted,
experimental, and warmly human.
