Yeast Side is a Singapore-based craft beer and sourdough pizza spot known for its energetic, quirky vibe. Playing with the idea of fermentation and friendship, I created two mascots—Dough Man and Yeast Boy. Dough Man is the chaotic one (often sleeping on a pizza or flashing his butt); Yeast Boy’s the steady friend, usually trying to hold his beer. Together, they bring the brand’s personality to life.
To balance the playfulness, I developed six key illustrations that evenly distribute across their food offerings—bakes, pizza, and beer. From “Toast-To-Toast” to a doughy “Cheers!”, each piece was designed for longevity and versatility.
The mascots and visuals were applied across Yeast Side’s packaging—from pizza boxes to grease paper, menus, takeaway stickers, and digital assets—making the brand as expressive as it is delicious.
Beyond craft beer and pizza, Yeast Side aims to
enrich the local food and beverage scene through
arts and culture. In line with this, they host
pop-up events featuring local creatives. As
their first collaborating artist, I designed and
produced a series of merch including tote bags
and T-shirts that celebrates the brand’s
playful, craft-driven spirit.
